i want to buy a stroker long block from D &D motorsports. its a 342 stroker with all forged internals. it sells for about 5000 and i was wondering if there was anything negative i should know or should stay away from before buying this engine?

is there much diffence if i went with the 327 stroker?

The 342 Is a stock bore with a 3.400 crank the 327 is stock bore with a 3.250 crank. I would go with the 3.250 crank with a .030 bore. The 3.250 crank will give you more hp and rev faster and the .030 bore helps unshroudthe valves.
