Default 5 lug conversion on a 89 5.0

I am looking a buying a 89 5.0 hatch I have seen some with 5 lug conversions and have newer model wheels I would like To put some 03-04 cobra wheels on this car I have heard every thing bolts up in the front. But what about the rear car I use the rearend from a 94 and up v8 mustang or do I have to reuse my rearend and get somekind of conversion kit? thanks for your help in advance!

the rear ends of the sn95 sstang are a small bit wider then the fox. it would be better to just use the rear axles and brakes and swap them in. the newer axles need to be modified some but its no problem. or you can buy a set f new axles from summit or jegs, they sell some from superior for 250 that come with everything you need. the front are merely a new 5 lug rotor.

You can use a 94-98 Rear Axle assembly if you find one whole as the Housing is Exactly the same as yours, you can also just buy the axles and all the mounting hardware.

Completely different design, you need Spindles from a 94-95 Mustang, and then you can run stock sized rotors with 99-04 PBR Calipers, or Opt for 13" Rotors and either Cobra, Bullitt, or Mach 1 Calipers.

As I said in the above Post, you CAN use the Entire Rear out of a 94-98 Mustang it is a Direct bolt up. To keep your Track from getting too wide up Front stick with 94-95 Front Spindles, they can come from a V6 or GT car as they are the same.
