Default motor mount issues

Hi I am in the process still of convering a 4 cyl to a 351 in my 1983 mustang gl coupe I pulled the old motor mounts out from the 4 cyl and went to put my new va ones in I bought polyurathene mounts off of ebay the guy said they were for all mustangs 79 to 95 5.0 and I know i know 5 .8 is not a 5.0 but they bolt the same on the motor. my problem is the mounts I got off of ebay have this little stud on them besides the bolt and it seems to be in the wrong place I do not know if this needs to be removed or what to make them bolt in place of the old mounts any help would be appreciated.

ps some one said the difference is because the mounts I got sent to me are for a 84 and above and mine is a 1983 thanks
