Default Lucas Oil Transmission Fix Really Works!!!

My AOD was leaking from the pan, as well as where the tranny meets the driveshaft. It was also banging pretty hard when shifting. I dropped the pan, changed the filter and gasket, and refilled with 3 Qts Mercon ATF and 1 Qt "Lucas Oil Transmission Fix." The stuff actually works!!! It is no longer leaking from either the pan (new gasket), or the other spot!!! The thing shifts as smooth as a brand new car. No more letting off the gas to get the tranny to shift to overdrive either. This is a great product that really works. I highly recommend trying it if your tranny is on the way out.

Maybe with the filter change... But like I said, the tranny was leaking BAD. It was using 1 qt every two weeks. The tranny fluid was all brand new when it came out.... perfect shade of red. The pan gasket was just barely dripping. The main leak was where the tranny meets the driveshaft and I don't have a clue how to fix that!!! No leak now, though....not a drop!!!

Anyway, you should see this stuff. It is as thick as syrup. I had to mix it 1/2 & 1/2 with ATF just to get it out of the bottle!!! I have been swearing by Lucas Oil products and have not been disappointed. Their gear oil took the clunk out of my POSI rear end. This is the first time I have used their transmission product, but I think it was well worth the 6 bucks.

I'm scared to try it my AOD shift kinda hard like it jumps away from you when it switches into 2nd but I just had mine rebuilt like a year and a half ago even though I don't think they knew fully how to adjust the T/V cable which i did some research and did myself and now after all this time she will shift into overdrive but she still shifts into second kinda hard after holding first until it hits 2500 to 300 rpm. But,I'm always skeptical about additives once I put some radiator add in my radiator and it gummed up my water pump and I had to replace it and I hate taking all that stuff off to change that thing.

No idea why the Lucas would kill it, I doubt that was the only thing wrong with the tranny. But I don't know, I wasn't there.

Well in all fairness i drove 1.5 miles with the TV cable to tight but i mean i can't belive that would totally knock out second....i dropped the pan on the car today and the brain just to check things out and there wasn't even really anything in the filter or pan so i'm still holding hope with a new filter i'll at least get second back hard or not lol

Let me know how it goes but in the mean time does anyone know what causes it to shift like that
