It is a 91' lx mustang 302 HO. It is an auto with shift kit. Has aluminum heads, cobra intake, and pullies. It is in good shape with 101k miles on it. My friends is looking at it I just wanted to know how good are the automatics in the cars, how long will they last? It is his frist mustang he drives a 89 blazer. Would it be fast enough and dependable for him. I haven't got to look at it but I believe it is in real good condition.

Come on 22 views and no one can tell me something about the transmission, how an auto runs in these cars with 3.55 gear. He said it was ford racing aluminum heads I think Z. He is probably going to get it tomorrow if when I go look at it, it looks good and I think it is worth the money. And does a chip help much or is changing the timeing and stuff about all that helps much.

there are lots of upgrades you can make to that trans, like the od band, and different gears. for the most part, if you take care of it, then you should be fine. just make sure the tv cable is set properly.
