 5.0 in a 65 surging problem.
Ok heres the problem, at rpm's below 1500 it surges badly, the idle is ok and when we had the exhaust tested at idle it was a little lean which we were told is normal but the hydrocarbons were at 3000 which they said was ten times higher then normal.The engine is a 93 mustang motor with alum cobra heads and manifold and the b303 cam with the stock fuel injection.It made 260 hp on the chassis dyno which is about where it should be and the motor runs fine otherwise, but the surging makes it hard to drive.I hope someone has an idea. thanks jim |
