Default 351w for my stang ?

hey i was thinking of getting a 351w for my stang. anybody know what year i should be looking for?? or are they all pretty much the same??

The blocks are pretty much all the same except for when they went to the roller lifters which was in '93 if i remember correctly. You can get conversion kits for the non-roller blocks if you want to use roller lifters. What changed was the height of the lifter bore. I think the aftermarket lifters a shorter to stay in the short bores of non-roller blocks. OEM roller lifters are longer that flat tappet lifters requiring taller lifter bores.
