Question H.O. pistons in regular block

Hey, I found a good deal on some aluminum pistons with the right overbore for my engine. The block I'm running is out of a '81 LTD. What is the difference between regular and H.O. pistons ? If I need new connecting rods I'm not going to use them.

Check the CH between the two that will tell you if you have a problem , as long as you are not over the deck height you are golden .

Regular pistons are cast, HO's are forged. They will work in your non HO block

Thanks guys, also, will I be able to re-use the piston rings from the stock cast pistons ? I just barely finished getting them seated (5k), or would it be a good idea to get new ones.

Wow, if I wanted to sell my car I only live 4 hours from you. Too bad I don't.
Maybe you want to sell yours? Oh, nevermind I want a H.O. engine.
