Default need intake and tuning advice?

I just bought a nice 88 coupe with a stock bottom end but it does have a intercooled procharger 10 lbs. , trickflow heads , anderson b-31 cam , 73mm mass air , 34# inj , mass air conversion , headers off road h pipe and 2.5 flowmasters , bbk intank 255 lph , and trex 255 inline , and a vortech fmu. my problem is that it has the stock upper and lower intake and throttle body I will be changing that soon and as soon as I do I need to find someone fairly close that knows what they are doing tuning? I live on the Illinois Wisconsin border just off Lake Michigan. Also any advice on what intake would be best might help I have been looking at those typhoon intakes on ebay anyone have any experence with those? Thanks

The Typhoon is a decent intake, but it has runner casting (inside) issues that you might want to address for best flow.

Any of the aftermarket products flow much better than the stock system. I just recently read an article placing the edelbrock performer as the best flowing EFI intake manifold out of the box. The cobra intake manifold had a very good cfm flow rating as well. The typhoon intakes were reported to have some cating issues. I've seen cobra intakes taking boosted situations very well. Basically, most aftermarket intakes will suite your purpose, and usually, the more it costs the more it will perform haha.

it will be a toss up of holley system max and edelbrock in my book. i got a system max on my 89 Natr/ asp/ i am pushing 104 mph in the 1/4 mile. with the pro charger you will need to pick out an rpm band that you want to run and pick the intake that flows in that range. be a pro charger you probly be running higher rpm you might look at edelbrocks 3500 to 7500 rpm efi intake takeing in mind this will effect the streetabltity of the car.

It's hard to believe that car has all those mods and a stock intake. I agree with the last poster. Holley SystemMax or Edlebrock performer are the best choices. The Typhoon is a chinese knock off of the edlebrock with casting issues that can be resolved but why? buy American and have it right the first time.

I have the RPM II from Edelbrock, with the heads/cam on my sig. and I've trapped the best of 109 mph, n/a. That intake I would think is probably the best for rpm and streetability, the car is real strong all the way up to about 6300 rpm or so.
