Default running rich HELP!!!

i have a 1988 mustang gt. it has a full exhaust underdrive pulleys, 65mm throttle body, and a few other small things. but it is always running rich and every where i go me and whoever else is in the car smells like unburnt gas. i have let it go for a little while but now it needs to be fixed. my fuel pressure is 38. there are no cats and no egr valve. is there anything else i could check or replace or even fix to make it stop running so rich??? PLEASE HELP!!! any advice i would greatly appreciate

Have you ever had the car checked to make sure it is actually running rich? The exhaust will me a lot more smelly with the cat's removed. If it is running rich then I would take a look at maybe a vacuum leak as this will put you a/f out of whack because of SD measuring from the vacuum.
