Default question about timing advance wit my 88fox

how far can you advance it with no work done to the engine itself, I've heard 14 degrees but I've also heard of some people going as high as 18....thanks

14-16 max, might need to use higher octane fuel.

Advice is to advance as much as possible without detonation using the same octane fuel.

It depends on your Mustang and the Quality of the Fuel you have in your area, if you hear pinging than you went too far, try to get the most you can without any pinging and set it there.
