Unhappy Front Turn Signal Problems

I have LED bulbs in my front inner and outer lenses. The outer LEDs always work fine and the inner/turn signal LEDs work fine (they blink and all) when the headlights are off but once I turn on the headlights they won't blink when I use the turn signal. The arrows on the interior dash stay lit up and don't blink as do the rear signals as well as the front signals too. The rear signals are regular hyper white bulbs, but the fronts are LEDs. I know LEDs only work one way, but that can't be the problem because they work only when the headlights are off. Anybody with some advice please help me out. Thanks a lot!

Fashers operate at certain load levels if the load is not being met it will not flash. LEDs have a very low load rating and usually cause a problem untill another flasher is installed. The signals may blink brighter during the day much like the lights on the radio dim when you turn on the headlights. A variable load flasher should fix the problem usually 6 bucks at the parts store. Or check the blinker fluid and recharge the horn.

Ummm...Or check the blinker fluid and recharge the horn.
I hope that was a mistype. I will try the flasher out, sounds like a very good possibility. Thank you and if anyone else has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

if the rears blink, it is not the flasher, I think that they are a single filiment bulb, stock lights are dual filaments

Everything works until I turn on the headlights. Then they just stay lit up and don't blink. It works fine when turn on/off the alarm as well. I believe it could be the flasher.

It's not the flasher, the flasher is not that smart, all it is is an on off relay, if it was bad, the lights would just stay on constantly while the turn signal switch was activated

That is what happens when the headlights are on and I try and use them. What do you think the problem is then?

If I go with a lower rated flasher will that solve my problem? What can I do so I can use the LEDs for my purpose?

OK! Here's an update. I tried installing a variable load flasher and that DIDN'T help. So I am at a total loss. I will try a better ground, but I don't know where the current ground is. Does anyone know where the ground for my turn signals is? Anyone have any advice?

The reason I have the LEDs in is because all the regular bulbs including hyper whites aren't bright enough when not flashing and it is just a washed out yellowish white. My headlights are xenon type and my corner bulbs are LEDs. The inner turn signals with the LEDs all match when not flashing and that is how I have wanted it but I need to find a solution that will allow me to use the LEDs.

Sounds like you're pretty SOL.

LEDs aren't going to work. If you put two LEDs in each lense it will. Right now when you put the LEDs in, and turn on the marker and signal at the same time, all it does is join the signal wire to the marker wire. In turn this will keep the flasher on. The only way to rectify this problem is to either put two LEDs inside your lenses (one LED for the signal light, one LED for the marker), or else design a circuit that would take the two signals, then convert them to a differential voltage output (one for signal, one for marker). Checking your ground will do nothing for you. My suggestion, give up the rice lights and put your normal bulbs in.
