Question Will 275/50-15 rims & tires fit my 1992 Mustang without modification?

I am loooking at purchasing some weld 15x8 rims , 5.5 backspacing with 275/50-15 tires on them. I have a 92 with no wheel well modifications. I do have lakewood control arms on and currently have the quad shocks off. The ride height is stock. Will these rims and tires fit in my wells without modification to the inner fender well and the fender lip. If not what is the widest I can fit without any major work.

I have 275/50/15 Mickeys on 15X8 Welds (no quads)on my 89. I'm unsure of the backspacing but they sit in from the fender a ways like this. I have a feeling mine are the 4.5 inch backspace. I had to beat the crap out of the inner fender and they still rub a little when I turn. The outside is fine as you can see and I'm at stock ride height. Hope this helps!

I run BF Goodrich 245/50/15 all the way around on my '90 with the stock rims. Been that way for about 5 1/2 years now. No mods to the fenderwell, still running the quads, only a SLIGHT rub in the front on full turn(steering wheel to the stop).

The rubbing is only on the inner fender not the outer, and you didnt have to roll the lip of the outer fender?? Just double checking.

Not sure if that was directed to me or not.... If so, no I didn't roll the fender. So far(after 5 1/2 years) no issues regarding this tire size at all. Unless you consider no traction an issue.
I use to run Eagle GT's. They are very soft and provided better traction but they cost too much to replace every 6-7 months. I went with the BF Goodrich's and they are a harder compound and last longer just s-ck when it comes to traction. On the flip side though, 347 stroker + Kenne Bell + TKO-500(3.27 1st gear) + 3.73's = NO TRACTION at all.
