Question Timing Chain Cover Question?

I need to purchase a new timing chain cover for my 94 GT. I found a used one at a great price. I don't know if it will fit for sure, and the guy who is selling it, don't know if it will fit for sure either. It is off a fuelie 5.0, but he's not sure which year. This is a quote from the email I got. If anyone has a way to check part numbers for application I would appreciate the help. "RFE3AE-6059-something I can't make it out? and then an A." I believe the timing chain cover for the 86-93 is differrent than the 94-95. I believe it's shorter or something. Thanks in advance for your help guys!

Happy Hot-Rodding!!!

believe they are the same. call napa and ask them for part numbers. unless youve got a ford dealship book there. pretty sure they are the same. only thing thats really changed on them is the one peice rear seal, and fuel injection, roller cams in 85and oh ya forged pistons and hyper pistons and ....hmmmmm crap. lol na im pretty sure they are the same. but like i said give napa or even a ford dealer parts. at your local ford dealer.

Thanks for the replies. I'll call the dealership tomorrow and see if they can look up that part number. I'll let you know what I find out.

87-93 are the same but 94-95 are different
You can use them on all 5.0 but need to use the water pump that goes with the cover
So if its 87-93 then use 87-93 w/pump
94-95 use 94-95 w/pump.
