Exclamation Need help installing 1996 dual electric fan in my 1990 Mustang!

hey guys.
i just got back from the J-yard and found a dual electric fan from a 96-up taurus.
i even took the porcelain resistor too.

now. outside of needing a better altinator, what are my options here for hooking it up. i would like it to come on and off by itself. i allready have a 180 stat. i know i need a temp sesor for the block, but from what car.i also know i need a controller, but again from what car and/or where can i get one. i do have a/c but i need a new drier line,so its diconected right now.

what are all of u guys doing to install these. please help me out. i am more than capable of installing this i just need to know what i can do. money is always a factor. i don't want it to look ghetto. no offence to those of u who live in the ghetto.lol.
thanks for the help.
jay.

Haha, I live in the ghetto(near a large university), and I understand completely. No offense at all. You are right to deride the ghetto.

I think most people use aftermarket controllers for this. Usually they have a probe which senses radiator temperature at the fins of the rad.

I think most of the newer cars use the computer as the controller. On a fox, you need a stand-alone unit. It's prolly just easier to buy a new universal one.

I'd recommend making brackets to support the fan, rather than using those things which use the radiator fins to support it.
