im trying to figure the combo for my h/c/i i know roller rockers are better than the stock rockers but i was wondering if it was worth the $150 or more to switch them out

Yes, the 1.6 roller rockers are worth the money. They will give you a little more power due to less friction on the valve tips plus a little more lift over the stock rockers. Just double check for valve clearance depending on the size cam you use, even though you shouldn't have any trouble with just 1.6 rockers. The stock rockers are notorious for not being very accurate and they can be weak and flex under the stress of higher RPM's. I put roller rockers on the 289 in my 66 and wont put anything else on any other engine that I build.
