Exclamation Need Help! Uncommon Throwout Bearing Problem with 1986 Mustang GT?

Hi everyone, I have an 86' GT, put in a new shortblock, and a Luk replacement clutch (Im cheap!) with a new pilot bushing and bearing, and a new throw out bearing. My problem is actually the opposite of everyone elses, almost everyone says they have a squealing that instantly goes away as soon as they press the clutch, on mine , its when I push the clutch, and every time I shift, and when I shift it actually sounds like I have a turbo bov but im not sure if its the T/O bearing or something else, and this just happened out of nowhere, I mean I drove home fine, and at nite, its there!!??! If its the T/O bearing doing this in lack of lubriacation, since im a father and F/T worker and have no time, would it be wrong to take off my clutch boot, get a can of WD-40 and carefully spray just the T/O bearing and retainer?? So please my dying breed of muscle car fanatics, help me for I will return the favor!!

Thanks!!

I wouldn't spray WD-40 on it, because that would wash away any lube which might be on it.
If you had it installed, I'd contact the shop. But if the noise isn't really ugly, I might just drive it some more, and see if it disappears.

What shortblock did you put in? What year was it?
Sounds like a clutch problem though.
