1991 Mustang GT, No heat... Thermostat?

OK, I am not getting heat and haven'tbeen since I got the car. So, I figured it was the thermostat since the car isn't having any other issues.

So, shich Direction does the thermostat face? We have the spring end facing into the motor, as that was the way the one we took out was set. Is this correct.

Right now the car runs, doesn't over heat... but we feel heat in the upper radiator hose, but no pressure. THe heater hoses are not hot.

Any Ideas?

it could be just that, but there could be a broken fan in your water pump aswell so the pump isnt flowing as it should causing poor serculation But however if that was the case you car would be hotter then usual. around what temp does it ride at?? does it fluctuate??

Nope, its steady... right at the A in Normal.

The radiator was bad. I had to hit the drain plug with a compressed air blast as well.

Good news is I have some heat now. Ran some flush through it, right now its cooling. I will drain in the morning. I am hoping that 2 flushes will save the radiator and heater core.
