Default c-4 transmission pan

I need a new pan for the transmission that i recently rebuilt and and was looking at a new deep pan. Is it necessary to use a filter extension when using a deep pan

There should be no reason for an extension as you will still be filling the transmission up to the same level on the dipstick.

If the car 60ft like a demon coming out of Hell I would run it. Years ago I seen were there was a car that was smoking trans and they chased it back to fluid moving away from the pick up due to slosh. But no I dont run one, my 60s are just ok for a street car at 1.57.
