Default Cross member problem

I have installed the new engine in my car and I am trying to get the trans mount bolted up using the new double hump cross member. I am having trouble with the new cross member hitting the exhaust pipe hanger on one side and not letting the trans mount lay flat on the cross member bolting area as shown in the picture below. Anyone have this problem when switching from single hump to doube hump cross members?

The problem that I am seeing is that the exhaust hanger is wrong. I know that the one on my 87 and my 89 the hangers are facing up like the one not hitting the cross member in the pic . That is the problem that I am seeing as to why the cross member wont go on properly.

That hanger bracket you have is for the old crossmember. I bought a new hanger when I converted the 85' to true duals. It is flat and the holes turn up. You could try to beat that one flat.... If not 35$ should do the Trick at 50Resto..
