Hey all I need some help. I am thinking of getting a Adjustable Fuel Regulator but running stock fuel pump for now. Anybody think this is worth it? What are the pros and cons? OR should i just do pump and reg at the same time. I will be running 42lb injectors..

Off the top of my head I'm honestly not sure if the stock fuel pump will support the flow needed by the 42 lb/hr injectors.
The pump/regulator are a good idea and you can get both for under $300 bucks. 255 lph pumps aren't even that expensive anymore. BBKs are about 130 from Summit. Regulator is 110.
Always a good idea to ensure that your engine can get enough fuel, especially with forced induction.
Atleast get the regulator now, it will work fine with no problems with your fuel rails, lines and pump.
For your future application- I would jump to the 255lph pump or the A1000.
What boost are you planning to run? Blowzilla 14lb or flowzilla 10lb?
Are you planning to upgrade fuel rails and lines?

I am hoping that I can run between 10-15psi of boost. I have all the pulley sizes so we well see what she can do when I get her all put together.
Yes I plan on upgrading rails and lines but not right now..I done blew my budget and trying to get by w/o the reg and pump if I can for now..

i have the BBK regulator, works great. I also got there fuel pressure guage adapter for in the car. Electrical. you can monitor you fuel pressure under boost. It is great to know what is going on with forced induction. My 93 lightning has the flowzilla. I get 5-8lbs of boost on average.

I have Prosport Boost, Water and Oil temp guages that will go on the a-Pillar. I was thinking of getting a guage that I can use inside the car, that would be much better, good idea. What did you guage run you?

I have the BBK 255 lph Pump, it screams like hell but it works great. I have an aeromotive regulator, only because I wanted all fuel related things to be red.. (yea, stupid crap, some kind of theme).
Anyways, they work great. Only other advice I'd have for FI that you might want to keep an eye on is either an EGT or Wideband O2. Obviously they aren't needed, but it saves a headache and it's kept many people I know from "doggin" their Mustangs when they were lean.

If you have a cowl hood you can mount a Fuel Pressure Gauge (mechanical) in the grill of it just outside the window. The other option is a mechanical inside the car (can be dangerous) or an electric one, which are about 200 or so.
You don't need this part unless you are changing fuel line out for braided - AER-FBM2183 Fitting, Adapter, Pressure Gauge
You will definitely need this part if you are trying to feed bigger injectors - BBK-1607 Fuel Pump, Electric, In-Tank, High-Volume, 255 lph
This part will be very beneficial for tuning purposes and as everyone has said, should be purchased. - BBK-1706 Fuel Pressure Regulator, Billet Aluminum, Blue Anodized
Unless the supercharger requires the extra pulley location, you can simply eliminate the smog pump and route the belt off the alternator straight over to the water pump. Just requires you to measure for the correct belt size and possibly drill a new alignment hole for the tensioner, in which case, this part would not be needed either. - PRO-68110 Bracket, Smog Pump Eliminator
This part goes hand in hand with the Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, above. It should thread right in to the test port on the stock fuel line. - SUM-800160 Gauge, Fuel Pressure, 0-60 psi

Thanks for all the info and good input. I wish i could elimate the smog pump but the instructions call for the smog pump. I am glad that you mention that because I am not even using that in the stock motor. I guess I can not use it at all...
