I have a 347 stroker with a gt40 intake, roush/yates style 351 heads that have been milled and proted, and a large cam...the motor is a higher rpm motor, meaning my hp and torque curves are higher.
What size throttle body should I be running?
I see some magazines are running 80-90mm throttle bodies on their nat. asp. 347's.
Is it true that on a nat asp motor you want to run a larger mas/maf sensor?
347 with Yates heads? Yow. You could go pretty large, you definately don't want to choke it for air. I know you can get a 90 for it, but you'll have to port that inlet a whole lot, I think it's a 70mm. For the MAS, I've seen an 80mm, that can feed up to 600-700 hp so look into that. You might could find bigger. What injectors are you running?

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.

thanks for the reply...I'm running in the 440-470hp range...my engine builder tells me that 450hp is being conservative, but honestly I've never been a bullshitter.
The motor hasnt been dynoed yet, thats why I'm trying to get it straightened out before spring.
In that case, you could go with an 80mm, that'll give you a real snappy throttle response similiar to a 65mm on a 302. More power would be with the 90mm so it's up to you.

depending on the compression 11.5 to 12 to 1. solid cam.

.362 is either cam lift or duration...I cant remember
Prolly the cam lift itself before the rocker arm. With a 1.6 Ratio Arm it's a 0.580 Lift cam. 362 would be hell of a duration, depending on how that company measures duration (prolly not from .050 lift).
I run a 83mm holley tb and a 83mm Pro M mass air on my 347 but im only running the P heads milled with 10:2 compression

The larger the cam, if it is very loapy, the largest TB will help smooth idle quality. With 11.3 compression 80mm to 90 mm would feed enough air to be drivable. the Yates head flows 400 cm and over 300 on the exhaust. you should go big very big.
