Default 1985 Mustang TFI distributer has an octane stick
anyone know what this does? I read you can replace this stick with a 3 and 6 retard degree sticks. I guess so you can run lower octane gas?

you can do the same by adjusting your timing, the octain rod justs moves your distributor stator. big g
