Yep, that's pretty much it. Be sure to examine the spindle for wear - if the bearings tried to weld themselves to the other parts around them, you might need more than just new bearings.
I don't remember the exact torque settings (get you a Haynes manual for your car - they list these). I know that there are at least a dozen ways to estimate how tight these need to be, but I'm a big believer in getting that castleated nut back on correctly.
Use the right amount of grease and work it into the bearings with your fingers and palm. You don't really need to dump a bunch of extra grease into the grease cap, though many swear by this.
Be sure to put all the original hardware back on, including all washers and the all-important cotter pin (replace it if its broken or worn out).
I'm serious about wear on that spindle. If the bearings failed and dug up some spurs from that spindle, its toast.

I've replaced the rotors and pads on cars before, is it as simple as that, remove the rotor, slide on the new bearings and put it back together?
