Default 1986 Mustang Convertible, rear seat and parade/boot cover?

When I bought the PO had all of the vinyl (dust cover) behind the rear seat laying loose, I mean with the top UP, you could see all the junk behind the rear seat. There was nothing specific to attach it with. Now I tried to attach the parade/boot cover for the first time and could not find where it clips onto the back of the rear seat.

I had an 86 convertible before, but it's been about 12 years since I sold it, so my memory is fuzzy on these subjects. I am guessing there is an extra metal strip that is missing, it probably screws to the back of the rear seat?

Finally, how do you remove the backrest of the back seat? I got the rear seat bottom off, but not the back.

Thanks,

As far as the missing part, I saw another Fox body convertible in a parking lot on the way home tonight, looked in the window and saw the missing strip. I called the PO, he found it in his garage and is mailing it to me.

Now, how to take the rear seat back off?

Thanks,
