Default 1986 Mustang with 135 Amp Boss alternator and Amp meter?

My alternator died, so I purchased a 135 Amp Boss alternator from AlterStart.

It's installed and working, it took me 2 hours, it would have been quicker, but my Dremel tool died and I was being slow and careful with the install.

After I completed the installation, I found in the documentation that the stock Amp/Volt meter would no longer work. There is a white terminal on the Boss alternator that is not used. Has anyone figured out how to rewire the stock Amp/Volt meter in the Mustang to work with the upgraded Boss Alternator?

Thanks,

Not really but all u need is to tap into the positive cable coming out of the the alt or right at the battery. U can get a LED voltage gage that looks really cool from the stereo shop that u can mount on the dash. Also u need to go with 4 Gage wire or bigger with that ALT or u will not get the entire benefit from the higher amp ALT. Also the negative battery cable.

The kit came with a 4ga Positive wire that replaces the stock wires. The new alternator uses the D shaped connector and the new positive cable only.

I'd just like to tap into the stock Amp/volt meter and use it if possible, or find another gauge that fits in the stock location.

Thanks,
