Default edelbrock victor junior heads for 87 mustang

these should fit on my 87 302 correct? also are these a direct bolt on or do i need other parts to make them work? How do these flow?

1) Yes.
2) You need head bolt bushings so you can use 302 headbolts, all aluminum heads have the holes for 351W sized head bolts. May need to notch the pistons, those valves are huge!

Flow? Way too much to be useful as street heads on a 302. Probably something like 308cfm @ .600 if I remember right. Can you say no torque? heh I'd rather have a set of AFR165s or trickflows.

I agree they are a little big for a 302 unless you have other mods to significantly increase the airflow through your engine.

Also, I don't know if the 60cc combustion chambers will be ok with a stock 302 or not, but on my 393 with 60cc chambers I am using a 12cc dish piston to get the compression down to a pump gas friendly 10.9 to one. If I had used flat top pistons, like those in a stock engine, the compression would have been almost 13 to one.
