Default 1988 Mustang Turn signal Flasher and relay location?

Can anyone tell me where the turn signal flasher is on a 89 5.0? Also, is there a turn signal relay, and if so, where is it?

Round metal "canister-looking" relay in the passanger's compartment fuse block. No other relays in that system. Are you having trouble with turn signals?

yes, The turn signals were working sometimes and now have completely stopped. I believe the turn signal flasher is no good; I'm having trouble finding it.

Swap out the flasher relay is the easiest starting point. Gets kind of messy from there is both right and left sides are out.

Found what I believe was the turn signal flasher BEHIND the fuse box near the steering column. Replaced and signals still do not work. I'm going to double check the bulbs and replace all of them.

Is there anything else I should check?

I went out and checked my 89 and the flasher can is behing the fuse block. If replacing this does not resove the problem, check bulbs (likely not the problem) and then go to grounds then turn signal switch on the column.

The Flasher For The Turn Signal's Is Behind The Stereo Mount In The Console.just Look Behind Your Stereo,on The Passenger Side, and You Should Find It Hanging There.the One At The Fuse Panel Is For The Hazzard Lights.

Problem solved; I pushed the wires to the ignition switch upward into the switch and turn signals worked. Replaced ignition switch and all is good. One wire in the switch was not connecting. Thanks for the responses.

I don't know about the 88-93 cause the dashboard is different but on my 84 and 86 it's the round plastic relay behind the dashboard over the glove compartment
