I have a 1994 mustang convt. The other day my convertible window shattered when I was putting it down. I guess the seat belt caught on something and the glass shattered.

Where can I find the cheapest replacement window?

How to I install the new window? (is it glued, sewed, or ???)

Your car is a generation past my 90 gt ragtop. I broke mine not long ago and found new ones in a 5.0 mustang magazine. I ended up getting a used one for 40 bucks though. Mine had a zipper around 3 sides and was bolted in on the bottom. I thought I could do it myself but I couldn't. A friend of mine makes canvass for boats so she helped me out. The zipper needed to be taken out of the old window and installed into the canvas around the replacement.
Call the supply shop to see if yours comes with a zipper. Maybe a 94 doesn't even use one, I'm not sure but if it does and it is installed you should be able to put it in yourself. Mine had trim pcs that were bolted in behind the trunk lid that needed to be removed in order to tuck in the new material under the metal between the top and trunk lid.

Try calling bone yards to see if they will sell just the back panel with glass. Plastic windows are cheap but they suck long term so don't do that if you can avoid it.

Help, I am trying to install a new top and window on my 94 gt convertible. Is the window attached to the top or just lapped and if it is attached how is it attached, thanks
