Default 89-93 Mass Air Computer/ Need Help Decoding

Hey guys I just purchased a computer from a friend that he claims to be a 5 speed mass air computer. It has the letters/#'s A3M1 written on it , my friend says it's about the same as the A9L computer. Can anyone tell me what year mustang this ecm came in and if it's any good? Any info is appreciated.

Yes, that's a five-speed Fox mass-air flow ECM, I think '92-'93. I have one from a '93 5.0L five-speed LX.

Check out fordfuelinjection.com. He has a very comprehensive (in my opinion) list of Ford computers and the related application. Should help you sleep better.
