Default Broke a Intake Bolt.

the front drivers side intake bolt snapped. head clean off. how can i fix this? can i remove the others(9 off allready) and lift the manifold out and work the bolt out another way? i am limited on money with no drill and tap set.

if its broken just below the head, you can pull the intake and have a little left to grab with vise grips.
Another way is to pull the intake and wrap the CRAP out of everything with dry rags, then damp rags, then several layers of aminumim foil and slide a nut over the remaining part of the bolt and weld the nut to the shaft, and remove like a normal bolt.
If you have a tig welder, sometimes you can build up the broken bolt and then weld a nut to that without pulling the intake, but other than that, you can count on needing a intake gasket set at the least.

my whole intentions was to replace the gaskets. since i beleive its leaking oil. i am replacing intake and valve cover gaskets. i am pretty sure i can vise grip it with the manifold removed. but hey, i like to freak out. thanks for the reply. this site and everyone on it has benifited me one way or another!
