Drain should be low on passenger side, fill is easiest by removing shifter and filling. But the fill plug is on drivers side about level with floor board.
Just my opinion but I would think that having to pull the console and pull off the shifter to fill the trans would be a lot of work. Just use a funnel and hose and go in from the passenger side engine compartment. Fill until it starts to come out of the fill hole and plug.
This is the method I use.
Use a long enough hose (4' or so of clear vinyl tubing) attached to your funnel or tapered fitting on the ATF bottle directly.
First run the hose into the trans fill hole, then route the other end of the hose up high so it's convenient to hook up a funnel and pour in the ATF.
If you don't have a short-throw shifter, do yourself a favor and install one when you change your fluid. The re-filling is so much easier, and you will love how it shifts.
