Default holly 650 double pumper

does any one have a holley 650 double pumper with mechanocal secondaries they want to trade or get rid of? i have a holley 750 with vaccuume secondaries with is too big for my 306. it makes my car run incredibly rich and not make the power it should. i am willing to trade my current 750 or i have a hand full of factory parts off my 1988 gt im willing to trade. please let me know. thanks!

You may even want to get vacuum secondaries on the 650, depending on your mods

why would the vaccuume secondaries be better?

A 750CFM IS NOT too big for your motor!

It just needs tuned for the combo you have.

Your rich condition may or may not be related to the carbs CFM.

The power valve can be changed but its really a waste of his money to do it. He'd have much better throttle response with a more properly sized carb. 750 is really pushing it on a 306.

ive tried tunning the car a few different times and ive leaned the carb pretty much as much as i can and the car is getting swamped below 3 grand and the car is constantly rich through the whole rpm range. i need a 650 witch will allow me to tune the better as well.

Yes, the 750 is a little big, BUT it is not running rich because of it.
