Default Head Light And Heater Control Problem, Fox Mustang GT

Two questions?

1. My head lights (low beams) and fog light works if the lever that controls the blinkers is pushed foward. The brights (high beams) work and no fog lights if the lever is in the middle or rest position. And when I pull it back the bright and fog lights work. Do I have something switched? In my other car if I push the lever foward or back the brights works and in the middle is the low beams/fog lights.

2. My heater is stuck on hot temp. I took the knob off and it was broken so I tried to turn the heater down with a wrench and it would not move. I tried alittle harder but still wouldn't move. Is my heater control broke? Can I fix it or do I have to get a whole new unit with the other controls attached to it?

Sounds like the lights are backwards alright. And it's normal for the highs to be on while the fogs are not. They from the factory don't operate when the brights are on.
Sounds like you need to change the cable behind the dash, when it breaks it'll usually cause the control to get stuck.

This is what you need.

Thanks for the info. I will take the unit out and check the cable and replace.
Could you tell me how to fix the headlights?
