Default Good Torque Converter???

i was wondering whats a good converter to install. and at what stall? i was thinking around 3200? good for street/daily driving?I'm ordering me a rebuild kit for my aod tranny and a shift kit, while i got it all out i want to install a good converter. Can someone help me on what would be a good one. and brands. I was looking at tci's.By the way in a 93 stang gt

Precision Industries. Their stallion converters are supposed to be great. A little pricey though. I guess you get what you pay for.

I run a www.tcsperformance.com Really a trick piece. You may have to call to see if they can make one for an AOD. Maybe www.lentechautomatics.com

TCI is pretty good for the amount of money you pay. However it won't come near the quality of a custom converter.

I had a 87 5.0,Installed a B&M 2400 to3200 rpm worked well!

You better match the stall speed with your rear gear or you will be sorry. For a 3,200 stall, use a 3:73 or 4:10 gear.
