Default Torque Specs for Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads

Im about to slap on these heads and i dont know the torque specks to these and the torque sequence.


can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me what they are?

Depends on the bolt/stud size you're using. For 7/16 bolts, you use 70 for the short ones and 80 for the long. For 1/2 bolts, you use 100 for the short and 110 for the long.

The torque should be in 3 steps...
70/80:
step 1- 50 ft lbs
step 2- 60 ft lbs
step 3- 70/80 ft lbs
back them off 2 whole turns, and repeat

100/110:
step 1- 60 ft lbs
step 2- 80 ft lbs
step 3- 100/110 ft lbs
back them off 2 whole turns and repeat

The sequence is:

7 3 1 5 9
8 4 2 6 10

were does # 1 start on the sequence and which way does it go?? example front of car top is 1 and frot of car bottom is 10??

ps there may be a general rule on this but i dont know it! i just follow chilton. haha

There's 10 head bolts, 2 rows of 5 bolts. The first one is in the middle and you go on that above sequence for each step up in torque. And those are Edelbrock numbers for those heads too.
