Unhappy Help a newbie with X-pipe questions please

I am a newbie. I just recently purchased my first stang, an 86 GT, and I'm in love. I've been reading through some of the posts and there are some really knowledgable people on this forum. I wanted to ask you guys a question. This is probably a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. I want to get an X pipe w/ cats for my stang. I've been looking around and I've found a MagnaFlow X-pipe for $379 and a BBK X pipe for $399. I was wondering if there would be a big difference between these two parts? Which one would be better for me to purchase? Are there better ones out there? I don't mind spending more money on better quality products. And if anyone could recommend a different manufacturer I would appreciate it. I have BBK shorty headers. Thank you for your time.

Welcome aboard man! Another 86-er... that makes three of us I think. Anyway... as far as your question goes... I think it all boils down to personal preference. You really can't go wrong with x-pipes. Some other guys might have differing opinions, but that's just mine. As for other brands, Basani, Dr. Gas, and Spintech all make xpipes that you can look into.
