Back spacing is calculated by measuring from the back side of the wheel mounting surface to the iside lip of the wheel. Most peopl place the rim face down on the ground then run a straight edge all the way across the wheel (from lip to lip). Then simply measur from the center of the wheel to the straight edge. This is your back spacing. To figure out what you will need; measure the rim that you currently have on the car. with a '95 the critical area is at the upper control arm. That is the component that sits closest to the wheel. Measure how much space you have between the wheel and the control arm. Then you can pull the wheel off and see what the back spacing is for that wheel. If you know the space you had available and the current backspacing, you can figure out what you need. Example; you currently have 1 1/2'' between the wheel and control arm and have a current backspacing of 6'', then you know you can go with 7 1/2'' backspacing. I am running 7 3/8'' backspacing with a 315 (12 1/2'' wide) with no problem and the tire sits flush with the upper fender lip
