I recently installed a rebuilt t-5 transmission in my 1995 GT. Before then i was having some vibration issues only on deceleration. Once i replaced thae transmission the vibration got significantly worse. It flet like the car was going to fall apart above 45 mile per hour. I replaced the front u-joint and the vibration got 90% better. Now the vibration occurs at speeds in excess of 65 mph and gets worse when decelerating. I ordered a new transmission yoke because I noticed groove in the old one after drivng it aound. I am reluctant to install the new one because it is a little shorter than the old one, matbe by a half an inch. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

Wel It could be your harmonic balancer. My car use to vibrate just rev'ing the engine at about 1,200 when it was at its worst. Changed it and it went away.

If that's the only real difference, 1/2 inch, you should be alright.
