Hi guys im wondering if my 95 gt convertible will beat a nissan sentra spec-v that my friend has. My car has 108,000 and the nissan has 60,000. keep in mind my car is heavy because its a convertible and his car is obviusly very light. SO if any one has beet a sentra spec-v with close to the same mustang as mine please tell me. My car has no cats flowmasters, rotor and cap MSD, and Cold air intake. the nissan is all stock.

man I hope youre kidding it is lighter than our cars but not that light the newer one weights 3048lbs, what year its your friends ? you're car its a little bit heavier for being a convert but those cars are high 16's at the 1/4 175HP and 180TQ. you should smoke him easily. The altima SE-R would a different story Id say it would be a drvers race...

I think it's a driver's race. If you don't get him out of the hole you will not win.

If you can't win...then it def. is your driving...just like Wes aka stanger007 said...you gonna have to get him outta the hole...that does not mean spinning the tires all the way threw first...you need to hook and go.

i raced someone with that exact car and I stomped on it and my flamethrowers surprised me..and i peed a little. So be careful when hitting the gas pedal.

I have a 95 mustang gt contv. with aode tranny same setup as you and i smoke my son's 04 sentra specv ser regularly. He gets me out of the hole but that's it.
