1995 Mustang GT, automatic transmission swap My O/Drive on my
tranny (AODE) had decided to say good-bye to me and my 95 Mustang GT 5.0. I have an opportunity to purchase a replacement
tranny with one that has around 80,000 miles on it. It was removed from a 98 Ford Van. It has the standard Small Block Ford bellhousing pattern 302/351W pattern. Would this fit my
stang and/or what mods would I have to do? thanks - price is driving this swap at this time

i have no idea what they put in vans but in the past some trucks and vans have had shorter/longer trannys.
with that being said you can always use the correct tail from your car on that
tranny and swap the output shaft.
this is a worse case kind of thing so yes it can work but i dont know if it will go right inn with out some parts swaping

It'll depend on the length of the van
trans , if it's the same you should be able to use it.

but if its different in length you can change to your mustang output shaft and tail case and it will fit then
