Default EERRR Charging issue danm stang!!!

So I replaced the alt plugs the alt and the batt. I start the car & all is good until 3 min later I get a Check engine light and a BATT light. IF i shut the car up and then one right away it goes away for 2min the more I do this the sooner it comes back on. What can be the issue its driving me F^$#KIN!!! Crazy Im thinking it might be the whole alt harness that goes to the fuse box? Where can I get one of those besides the junk yard. Thanks for the help noting but issues with the car eerrr lol

at the back of the alt. follow the hot wire back to the battery. there's 2 fuseable links. do a ohms test on each to make sure they're not burned out. as for the check engine, do a obd1 to determine why its coming on.

Here are some links in case you have to replace the fusable links. I just added some 4 gauge wire with a 200amp fuse from the alternator to the junction block on the drivers side inner fender. (Just behind the battery)

Most likely the harness or a fusable link has crapped out. Start tracing the harness and cables down, looking for any damage.

Allright about to add the fusable link so all I need to do is install a 200A fuse between the ALT and the FUSE BOX right? Havent checked the Volt Reg Yet.
