Default Which intake is better all around? Trick Flow or Edlebrock RPM?

I'm selling one of my cars and trying to piece together an engine combo for the 94. Which intake is better, the Trick Flow or RPM? I will be running NA at first and later I will get a blower.

I would say the Trickflow....out of those 2...but if I were you I would go with the Holley Systmax Intake....has larger intake port holes.

I thought about that one, but it won't fit under the stock hood on an SN95 will it?

Sheesh, save up for a engine and you have to buy a hood to put it in, LOL.

I'm partial to the RPM.

It flows great. All the testing I have read points to the RPM.

And the #1 most popular reason in my book, you can remove the side cover to get to the ports. This allows easy access for porting

I'm running the RPM. It is nicely ported. All runners have been resized to each other and lightly polished. It's beautiful

Nic,
Probably just the street intake.

Justin,
That's what everyone else is telling me too. I don't have any of my mustang magazines at school with me so I can't look up any of the comparos.

I think I'll stick with the RPM.

The Performer RPM is designed for engines with a higher powerband, like with aftermarket heads and a more agressive cam.
Unless you're going with a set of heads with big valves and a cam with alot of lift I'd say just get the Performer intake.

RPMs work well with forced induction too, but I agree with Quick4.6. You need to match your components

I agree with these guys, the Performer RPM and the TFS Street Heat are designed for totally different power bands. If you're on a budget, go with the TFS, if you're not, I think the Edlebrock intake is a little better intake. You can make plenty of power with either of the two.

I'm going RPM because it will fit my planned engine......AFRs, RPM, and a nice cam, 331, blower.

Gotta love the Eddie RPM. Actually for stock heads and stuff the Performer is the way to go. Id say get the RPM as it will benefit at every mod.

In that case the RPM will work just fine with your combo

Too bad the RPM is not street legal in California..... I'm going to end up going with the Street head myself...
