Default 1994 mustang gt cooling issues

Alright guys well my car has been running a little warmer then usual so i decided to see if i had air built up in the motor because i changed the radiator early this year and got a new T-stat a few months ago and did not run the car to get the air out.Well i did not seem like there was any air in the car. I added water wetter to my car today also. well now my car almost runs past the L on the guage where as before it would sit right on the A. Well i have a fairly new rad,new 180* Mr. Gasket T-stat, full of coolant, the fan does work, and the still seems to run hot. The car runs fine and still runs like new so thats why im thinking its not a head gasket. I either think the water pump is going out or im just not getting the right reading from the gauge. anyone have anyideas??

make sure the thermostat is not sticking shut. Is your fan working? try flushing the radiator. I just went thru it also and it ended up being the water pump.

Just don't run without a thermostat, that'll really make it run hot.
I'd guess it's the water pump, especially if it's never been changed. Has it ever been changed?

Not to sure if it has ever been changed. my guess would be no because it looks like crap just like the rest of my engine bay. dont water pumps make noise when they start going bad?

Put a high flow pump on its like ten bucks more and well worth it. pull the temp guage sensor off if you think there is air in the eng, once you see water running out no more air......

its probably got to do with the horrid hot weather we've been having in texas lately. mine runs like a dream in 7-8am rush hour but holy crap it peters out like none other in the mid and late day stuff. i just replaced the heater core (pain in the ass) and i was hoping the fresh coolant would help out some but she still gets all hot and bothered in the 90+ outside. i'm going to try to freshen up the cooling system in a weekend or two so i'll let you know if it helps anything at all.

mine all of the sudden started running hot. I checked everything except the ccrm. I finished replacing the water pump and now she runs cooler. look in the radiator and see if water is circulating. For a water pump to last 13 years without problems, thats luck !!!

Yes the weather down here in CC TX is deff hella hot. over a 100 today. sucks. 100* plus crazy humidity = no fun

Ive pretty much concluded that it is a faulty sensor/gauge whatever. I was cruising home tonight and usually with out the a/c i can feel heat come from my ashtray and the tranny. Well i was cruising and it was barely even warm around those areas. felt like it usually does when my temp gauge used to show it was running cooler. well i got out the car and the air my fan was blowing semi warm air. and when my car gets hot my cold air intake freakin aborbs heat like crazy and it is usualy untouchable well i was grabbing it no problems. felt my upper intake manifold wich usually also gets hella hot. and i laid my hand on it with no prob. so car deff runs at normal temp. guess imma check the sensor and crap tomorrow

yeah, that sounds like your temp sensor is outta whack or something similar. mine never reads too much hotter than the middle of normal on the gauge but you can tell its not happy.
