Default Problem with Replacing Water Pump

I'm trying to replace the water pump in my 95 GT. I've got all the hoses disconnected, and I've pulled all the bolts out except one. The bottom-most bolt is blocked by the crank shaft pulley. I tried to remove that pulley, but I can't budge it at all. I think I need a pneumatic wrench to get it off, which I simply do not have.

Am I missing something? Am I supposed to have to remove that pulley to get the water pump out?

Any advice would be great, since I'd hate to have to button it back up and take it to a shop after having gotten it this far.

On mine, that bolt had a little bit of it shaved off to creep by the pulley. I turned that bolt out with a wrench, and it touched the crank pulley, but they barely scraped by each other.
If that doesn't work for you, putting a breaker bar against the ground and cranking the engine a little will work great to get the bolts unstuck.
Just make sure you have it set up the right way...

It'd be a good idea to remove the pulley, rather do that than wrestle with it and possibly make a mistake.

Thanks for the replies. I did finally get the pulley off and finished the job.

Unfortunately it was all for nothing as the car still runs on the hot side - I've replaced the dashboard temp guage, the temp sensor, the sending unit, the radiator and all hoses, the thermostat, and finally the water pump.

What else could be causing it to run so hot?

Is the fan working ok? I just changed my pump too and still on the hot side too. Is your low speed and high speed working on your fan? Also has the radiator been flushed out.
