Default 1994 5.0 Next step for heavier engine mods?

Its been quite a while since ive posted..Finally got my internet back but anyway.. I have my 1994 5.0 that is already pretty well modified>
Cold air intake,
MAF,
70mm throttle body,
both upper and lower intake,
Long tube headers
full dual exhaust
B-cam
24-lb injectors
short throw shifter
Centerforce clutch
and a stock 8.8 rear end (putting in either 3.55's or 3.73's this winter while its in the garage)

My question is probably kinda long but here goes How much would it cost to just get my stock heads ported and polished? or would it be better to just buy a new pair of correctly sized heads? I really want to bump up my HP (No turbos or anything like that) so that when spring rolls around I will have a real mean machine.. So basically where can I go from here/what are my options? Thanks

What are you looking to spend?

It's all going to depend on you budget.
So let us know how much your looking at spending and we can go from there.
Since you already have the intake and cam you need heads. A cam doesn't do much without heads... Cams and heads are like peanut butter and jelly. You can have just a peanut butter sandwich but it's nothing like peanut butter AND jelly!

If you're intent on keeping the B cam, you could go for AFR 165 heads and 1.7 roller rockers. Otherwise go for the AFR 165s together with a CompCams XE270HR-14 cam, 1.6 roller rockers, and Tmoss ported Cobra intake.

What kind of intake do you have already?

With $1000 you can either save for AFR's- About $1500 or Trick Flow Twisted Wedge- About $1300

Or if you want some heads now, you could get some GT40 or GT40P's and get them ported.

Whats the average price of a porting & polishing job?
and what kind of gains would I be looking at with these new heads and or rockers?

If you do the AFR 165 heads/CompCams XE270HR-14 cam/ported Cobra intake combo you could be looking at something like 315rwhp/340rwtq.

AFR heads are around $1500 without rockers, Twisted Wedge are about $1200, and like Bullitt said get a cobra intake and get it ported to match the heads.
