Yeah, don't waste your money on an eliminator pulley. They don't hurt but they aren't worth what you pay. Plus that extra pulley is still somewhat parasitic (that's being very nit-picky though). But if you don't want the smog pump there just take it out and re-route a shorter belt.

be sure that when you check the length of the belt that your tensioner is at its max when measuring for the belt size.

i bypassed the smog pump and i needed a 89 inch belt.

Did you notice much of a difference in power?
Did you take your smog "stuff" out?

sounds right.. when i pulled mine i just went with a 90'' belt..

as for the holes in the back, i just got a shorter bolt, high temp silicone and a piece of steal with a hole, and covered them bad boys right up. seems to work fine!

This guys site has the removal procedure and some other cool tech on it as the belt routing and leangth .
