Default smog pump on a 1994 Mustang GT

i have a 94 gt and my smog pump is frozen up and wont let the belt spin. i am wondering if i should get a new one or should i just get an eliminater kit i dont have cats so i am not really worried about emissions. i donlt know if it will add some hrp to it.

I say dump the pump and replace it with a eliminator pulley kit. I did.

You could just take the locked up pump off and get a shorter belt, no eliminator necessary.

Bypass it all together. Don't waste money on the eliminator bracket, and I THINK it's 81.5" belt...

I looked at that last weekend. It looks like the routing of the belts without the pully there would make the tensioner inoperable.
So a shorter belt worked without the pully?
Did the belt tensioner have to be repositioned?

We have already eliminated the Cat with an offroad X pipe and the pump is not doing anything but wasting power.

Did you cap the holes off at the line or from the heads?
I'm looking to cap them off behind the heads but I dont know what to use or get?

I say drop the pump!!!
No need to have more weight up front that's not needed!!!

FEEN.... this is good stuff man!!!
i will compare when I get home. I was thinking the PS was on the top right and the AC was below. i will have to compare to the car ... That will save me $60 on an eliminator pulley!!!!

LoL I'm not sure what year model that is for. That is mainly a guideline I guess.
And I did have a PM from a buddy where we had found him the right size belt but I guess I accidentally deleted it!
