Hey guys long time no type, so here it is i know where i can get a cobra up/lower intake ported and pollished really cheap $150.00 i have almost every little bolt on, on the car and cam and heads will follow soon, so will it work with my oem 1995 gt heads and will i notice anything? ( i have to wait to get the heads look at and maybe reworked, and wile they are looking at the should i get the ported and pol. match to the intake. From every thing that i've read on here the steeda 19 is looking like the best choice for this set up. I'll also be adding 24#injectors 70 mm t/b. what kind of horse power do you think i will get (please say 300+) Sorry to be long just want to give as much info as i could.
Thanks guys
Tony

well im getting my car rebuilt and a port job on heads and intake and ill be adding a steeda 19 cam(best for 94-95 picky computer) along with a tune and ive been guaranteed atleast 300 whp when i get it tuned.
if you want 300 hp your gonna need better than stock heads. the gt-40s are good heads that arent very expensive and with a good port job on intake and heads along with all the other upgrades mentioned in your post you should be very close to 300 hp

You'll need better heads to get 300HP. The stock heads are not impressive even when they're ported. The Steeda #19 cam is a good one but won't help much if you don't have better heads to take advantage of it.
24# injectors don't add any HP, but are required to run certain HP.
You will notice improvement with the intake and heads ported though. It just won't be 300HP. I say after a port job on the heads and intake, you might see around 250HP somewhere. Get some 1.7 roller rockers and that will help a little bit also. Unfortunately doing one thing to your car without doing another won't make much of a difference. Example: Porting your intake and keeping stock heads= Little improvement but not much. Or better heads without a good cam to match= Some improvement but not a lot.

I've gotten a price of 180 to port my intake. That includes shipping and a few other add ons. There are definitely good deals out there.

I doubt you'll find one for $150, unless you get really really lucky.
Well eagle today is my lucky day i just got home with my ported and pollished cobra intake!!!!! $150.00 And guys i wasn't going to use the stock heads i'm going to get some gt40 with some 1.7 rockers, i was just asking if i would notice any thing with the new intake and old heads? Or would it be better to just wait on the install on the intake until i get the new heads, and i know it would less work if i waited but dont know when the wife will need a big ticket item, once she gets one then its my turn, If i give a little i can get alot!!!lol

lol wan i cant wait to get married! hah im 18 and my only baby is my car and i dont mind! well is the car your daily driver? if not wait for the ported gt40 heads. you will notice a big difference espeicaly if you get better gears
i put a explorer intake on my 5.0, and i noticed a big difference with stock heads, it could also be my cam thats making the difference, but over all the cobra intakes rocks as a mild bolt on,

Rear end gears (4.11's) don't make extra power. All they do is help your car accelerate quicker, and make the power your engine is making more useful.

well i have 410's in it now would the .01 realy be worth it???
4.10's and 4.11's are the same thing. People just say it different...
A "4.10" gear is actually 4.105--- or something like that. So some people call them 4.10's and others call them 4.11's. Same thing with 3.90's, I call them 3.91's.
This is what my dad always called them so it's what I'm used to calling them I guess...
Sorry for the confusion.
