Default new gears set to install tuesday

yup, and i will have spent 1,200 on these things when everything is said and done 450$ for install labor, 380$ for gears and tlok kit with master bearing kit, 200 for differential cover, 100 for speedcal, 50$ for axle bearings and whatever the gear oil cost

What gears did you go with.

i went with the ford motorsport gears 3:73's, 450 was the cheapest install price i found and thankfully it's from the most reputable shop. the only thing i feel i paid way too much on is the 8.8 inch cover, maybe because i had to do next day air on it since it was a last minute decision part. should have it by tomorrow

I work at a lawn & garden parts distributor, and I know that Next Day Air is AT LEAST $15 more than regular shipping, and that's just within this region.

You will forget all about the price as soon as you jump in the car and step on the gas with the new gears. For some reason that throttle pedal seems to take any worries away... Unless you're car's the problem...
